Tahm Kench
This has obviously been discussed before, but I think this topic needs further discussion.
We've all been the victim of friendly fire bard ults, trapped in turrets by jarvans and had amumus pulled into the whole team by blitzcranks... But these minor annoyances are nothing to what the fat fish known as tahm kench can do.
we all know how annoying it is when you know you can obviously kill all 5 enemy teammates in a fight when suddently you find yourself helplessly stuck into this ambling tub's belly and watched helplessly as your teammates got destroyed without you. This is something you learn to accept, nobody complains that they shouldn't have to auto the gallio for this long while nunu is ulting right next to him... this is something you learn to accept and avoid, you play around it. you shouldn't, however, have to play around your own teammates.
I've been eaten and "saved" by tahms alot, which is nice, but often I felt that it was unwarranted when, suppose, I knew I was max fury with renek in the middle of a minion wave and 3 enemies with my ult up. However something happened today that took me off the edge...
I was walking in through the side with ryze, 4 stacks on passive and about to lay the hurt on a lux who was out of position... then tahm ate me, carried me 5 feet and spit me back right when the enemy team grouped up... so there I was, 1v5, no passive... died instantly to a fight that we could have won. All that was standing in my way was a lux who I'd seen throw all her spells just 2 seconds prior to teemates who completely dodged it and a half health lee sin who had JUST tried to kick our tank support to death.
If Tahm had done nothing at all, Lux would have died in the next 2 seconds, and then lee would have tried to finish me off (I know this because he had done so many times before) And I would have killed him too with the remaining 3 seconds of my passive-ult machinegun combo. However tahm decided it was a good idea to eat me, carry me 5 feet away and by that time, lux's spells had refreshed, the adc and support had caught up and the toplaner was not far behind... seeing this, tahm probably assumed his own life was in danger and opted to spit me out into the enem team.
Now this is very unfortunate, just like a bard ulting you while you are trying to run away from a recently slowed yas and alistar as karthus and almost getting away until you just suddently zhonyas giving them time to set up an alistar Q and yas ult and die before you can do any significant damage for your passive-time ult do kill anybody.. but the difference is herein: This Tahm legitimately seemed to think that what he did was warranted.
Now for an ult that affects everyone, is a skillshot and needs precision to not screw up your teammates, I can understand a little bit of friendly fire, but tham's ability to eat an ally and spit him out wherever he likes is just asking for trolls.
I know it's complicated because an approval can be the split second between life and death for an adc as he pulls you out of the fight and spits you into safety, but there should honestly be a way to refuse to be pulled out especially if you're a timing-sensitive champion like ryze. Adittionaly, there should be a way to avoid be spit INTO the enemy team so this guy can save his own life (Losing the game in the process because he'S 0-4 and I'm 3-0)
I mean really
TL;DR: Should be able to refuse being eaten by an allied Tahm and or control where you are spit.
