Armor not working?

Is it just me, and I might be wrong but... lately I've been noticing that my high armor builds weren't doing so well against ad champs. Generally I automatically assume someone built dominics and I'm pretty much fucked but so far... nobody has built it in the last two days. I haven't seen anyone build any kind of armor penetration but oddly enough, I get deleted and the battle report says shit like 1-2k damage from basic attacks when I died in like 2 seconds flat... now this is weird and I know attackspeed is a factor but what the hell? There's no way someone can attack me 3 times through 2-3 hundred armor and still do that much. I get a feeling there might be some kind a bug that makes armor fail to record in the damage calculation...

I think armor is fine, it just doesn't mean much late game, an now with everyone dealing percentage health damage its almost useless

Armor is working, but there's so many armor-pen items and with ADCs running rampant in this meta, it makes it seem like it isn't.

thanks... I figured as much. I guess I've gotten too used to standing in front of the enemy team spamming /l while taking tiny chips of health from whatever they're doing while my entire team takes bot and top turrets simultaneously.
