Pantheon - Why I Hate him so much.

He is the most obnoxious person to lane against. I would much rather lane versus aYorick Yorick or a HeimerdingerHeimerdinger then versus a Pantheon. Why? Because there is no interaction in lane. His kit does not allow for any. It doesn't really matter if your a ranged top or not, he is extremely infuriating to lane versus. Why:

  1. His Passive. It is up so often it does not allow for trades, and allows for him to freely poke you under tower with no harm to you. This is probably my most hated part of his kit.
  2. His Q. Extremely high damage with great scaling, low mana cost, and point and click. This allows him to just constantly poke you throughout the entire laning phase with no chance of dodging it.
  3. His Stun reapplying his passive... Why does he need this, just make it add 2 stacks onto it not ready another passive, because this makes it even MORE Impossible to lane against him.
  4. His free crit chance. Lets take those really high dmg spears already and make them crit whenever your low, which is always because I've been throwing spears at your face all day.
  5. His ult. I really like his ult tbh, but it is so annoying. It rarely shows the circle until he has already started to drop, making it extremely difficult to get away from. Just make it show the circle a bit earlier please.
  6. He snowballs so hard and is a massive lanebully who is nearly impossible to shut down because of his kit. Self explanatory, he instakills anyone on your team so fast the second he gets even a tiny bit ahead.

Do not take this as a, "Oh i got rekt a panth in lane lets go complain about it" Thread. Its a "Only once maybe twice I've ever won a lane versus pantheon in my entire time playing league" Thread. He is such a toxic champion to face, and makes the game really boring for whoever he is laning against. I hope something is done to nerf Pantheon even a little bit in the future, because i have almost quit countless games after having to lane versus Pantheon. Tell me what you guys think, do you think Pantheon is a problem? Or it just me.

Given that there are soo many Failtheons in game, your complaints are going to fall on deaf ears, i'm afraid.

  1. Its one hit just auto b4 doing your combo 2.It does not have great scaling as it is bonus ad so unless your building full ad pantheon(gets blown up if looked at) it will do no damage late game 3.It allows him to be good at early game dueling, because hes a early game champ as his passive is kinda lame late game I don't see a problem with it. 4.really high damage spears: 3X(53 +.6 BONUS AD) man doing 200 damage over a second or 400 if low(not accounting for armor) at max rank is too stronk, especially considering most panths max q first, they wont have the ability to do this kinda damage until level 13. 5.If they gave the enemy any more time it would be unviable, as it is most champs with a dash or ms buff can completely negate it n those who cant are hit at the edge of the circle, only doing 500 damage at max rank(again not accounting mr).6. Pantheon's job is to be a early mid game terror, who falls off hard and becomes a late game tanky bruiser. Just have map awareness like i dont know ping mia whenever panth leaves lane because hes most likely gonna roam other lanes. If he's bullying you just ask your jungle for help he is very immobile pre-6 and if he bullies and pushes lane its a easy free kill for you or your jungle.

Yeah... But its back up so quickly especially when he uses W its kinda hard to trade with him at all.

I change my build :( I play mostly riven and Nidalee, On Nidalee i go from dmg to Sustain (Instead of sheen going for a mana regen item like morellos, for more heals) And on Riven i rush randuins.

How can you not beat him with nidalee?? armor, boots, and range attack him to death? ?

every champ has their advantages, Panth's is his early game strength and it should be hard to trade with him at early levels besides unless panth gets ridicoulously fed he cant single handedly carry games

Hard should not equal Near impossible to trade with him if your not a mage.

Pantheon is very bursty just pick someone that can take that burst and deal sustained damage , shen, maplhite,Darius, Shyvana,YOrick and Udyr all do well against pantheon. The problem is that most people who play against pantheon back off whenever he hits a spear, when thats when they need to go in as his damage will be significantly reduced during that time. The champions i mentioned above can both take pantheon's spear and sustained damage to him allowing them to trade with pantheon more than he can retaliate.
