It's really bothering me that no Sona threads are getting any attention

It really makes me feel like the problems that Sona players are trying to express aren't being heard, that may not be true, but that's surely what it feels like

I mean, I see that there are reds around but the fact that we can't get one in any Sona thread to discuss our champion is a huge bummer honestly, nor most of the time can we usually get the upvotes needed to bring attention to our threads

We just want to discuss our champion and her current problems, y'know? This isn't meant to be a thread of rude intent it just..sucks to feel like your playerbase isn't being heard

Do people hate Sona or something?

I feel like this is a similar situation to the Cass rework.

Riot knows they messed up, and haven't thought of a fix, so for now we're in the dark.

I'll probably get downvoted for this if any Sona mains are reading this but... Sona requires absolutely no mechanical skill to play her other than her ult and has poke, sustain, and utility for the entire team in her kit. She needed these nerfs, as her kit was giving a huge payouts without much required by the player (like janna). If you compare her to janna, Sona is even more underwhelming in that she simply requires you to stand near your carry and press Q W or E. At least with Janna you have to point and click, position your ult well, and now actually aim your tornadoes.

TL;DR My cat can play Sona better than some players.

I am not quite sure you understand what we want not buffs, a rework actually giving her mechanical skill would be the best idea

^ I wouldn't mind at all if they made Sona harder to play if it meant giving back the power she lost with her rework (or hopefully somehow bringing back her aura identity) ((or both)) so yeah

The thing is , most Sona players WANTED for her skill floor to be raised when she first got reworked.

All we got were condensed versions of her auras and nerfs after nerfs to her base stats and ratios.

She's still simple and easy, and that's the problem.

Never happens, this is an exaggeration that many people fall to when speaking about Sona tbh

The only time this would ever even possibly happen is if she has like 500 AP and it's late game, and even then she wouldn't get to one-shot anything because she'll get blown up if she ever tries because she's a piece of paper
