and the feeder award goes to....
dude stop with double digit death counts.
obviously you dont care that i fed my team in the process. it's cool whatever. most of my deaths were executions.
*4 of those deaths specifically. that brings my death count total to 10 trades where i died. if you look at my build most of my deaths were from saving an ally who had gotten caught out. i'd run in as a distraction and hit my
's active and they'd either escape and then come back and get a kill as i was dying or i'd die and take the kill myself. both were good trades for what would have been a 1 for none
your are also feeding gold into the enemy team,
1 for 1 is never a good trade, its is mediocre.
1 for 1 is better than 1 for none. if you look at the logs you can see that only a few times was it ever 1 for 1 or less. did you look at the kill log? the death locations? you're probably still going to be stubborn and sit on your throne of no ones k/d/a matters but your own but i can tell you from experience that you can actually win games by dying at the right time as karthus. that's his whole niche. whatever. my allies thanked me for all of the kills i gave them and the amount of drakes and turrets i defended.
12 deaths in 31 minutes as a tank...eww. Thats a death every 2,5 minutes so you obviously did something wrong...anyway, I like Karthus tank, I tried myself in the top lane, pretty good.
wasnt tanking. i was supporting.
It seems weird to build almost all armor vs a 4 AP team when you dumpstered the AD champ already. But offtank karthus support seems like a decent idea, though I doubt I'm good enough with his Q to pull it off.
the passives were the selling point. however thresh tristana and akali have mixed damage and teemo and tristana are both marksmen. i built magic resist in the form of guardian angel.
this was the idea i had - run in with my E until i ran out of mana then peel away thanks to the added mobility from my out of combat movement speed. it doesnt show the drakes we had but they were mostly all cloud drakes. i knew karthus was one of the first champs that would be focused down so i tried to use that to my advantage by buying the items that would hurt them for focusing me - such as thornmail and sunfire cape. i bought guardian angel when i found out (the hard way) that you cant solo dragon if you die because once you go into unliving mode the drakes health starts to regen faster than you can damage it (i was so sad when i found that out because the drake was at 1200 hp when i died, but i wasnt worried about it getting stolen since i had warded with a pink and skuttler). it also provided some magic resist to help with akali's R and teemos Q and poison. i went with the talisman of ascension to help myself get to areas faster and to help teammates get to areas faster plus i need an income item that would allow me to sustain in lane and neither relic or edge provided me the security i needed to stay in lane and poke. thornmail is obvious - no one on their team had aoe spells that really mattered and galio is simple - dont attack him or his bubble. i basically bought it so that when i was running around if i got hit by one of the marksmens ranged attacks i'd just hurt them in the process. it worked since they didnt buy armor penetration. sunfire works when you're alive in a crowd and helps to kills drakes. it might even work after death, but i dont know for sure. the Q is easy when you have your skills on instant cast. you just point and press. it will erupt 2 seconds later. most enemies wont react fast enough to it if you're within a certain safety range
