why am i consistently being placed against gold players just trying to get out of bronze?
didnt happen last year climbing out of low bronze was kinda unsuccessful but still i was being matched against similar bronzies at least

because its flex queue which is a joke of a queue taken less seriously than normals and also has a completely separate MMR
Don't play flex.
Just take a single champion and play it all the time on ranked. Make sure to farm well (on lane 80cs in 10min and 100cs in 12min). There is not even a single reason to play many champions.
Because people in Gold are basically Bronze. Can speak from experience. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
