How do you play tryndamere?

seriously how are you supposed to play tryndamere isnt he supposed to be busted af or something?

my experience with tyrndmere is the following

choose AS runes and enemy always flash away in early fights and i am too slow to catch them even when i press W

choose MS/tanky runes and do absolutely no damage

wtf why is his early damage so pathetic in general? terrible damage all game long until up i get one crit item and IE then he has decent damage against squishies

late game once enemy team realizes i am too strong i get cc'd to death and hyperfocused and can't do anything literally have to pop out ult too fast every time i enter fight and sometimes i die before i even use it that's how squishy he's

if game doesn't extend till i get two items i am absolutely useless

tl;dr i suck at tyrndmere help me

also where's the "new player advice" section? i cant select it.. was it removed?

You aren't supposed to chase down people, you're supposed to make people chase you. You stay toplane the entire game and just push and push and push, people will try to fight you, you fight back, you lose you use ult and run away, you win you keep pushing.

By doing this, you'll either for the enemy team to bring 2 people for you and have their team be in a 3v4, or they ignore you and you melt their towers

Right click, press R when dying, splitpush, mocking shout, spin, win.

What Beatrice said. Also Trynds damage mostly comes from his Passive and Q. You want to keep fury up almost all the time it raises his crit strike chance. His Q passive makes him gain additional bonus attack damage the lower his health.
