Generally you only get demoted from a tier when you lose 3 games at 0 LP. I was at 38. +19 per win. -18 per loss. I lost 2 in a row. I'm now at +2. I lost 2 more in a row and got auto demoted. Please help I'm too confused and baffled at the same time.
Ravenhale1 votesI believe you get demoted whenever you lose while having 0 LP and a MMR value lower than your current tier. I've been demoted with a single loss at 0 LP, but usually that's after a two/three loss streak that got me there and wrecked my MMR.
ViciousSummoner1 votesI've had plenty of situations in which I've gone on straight losing streaks and this never happens. Only randomly does this ever happen in fact this is probably the 2nd or 3rd time. I've been in situations where I've lost over 6 games in a row and still have the 3 game buffer.
