I Just Want Vorpal Blade Back(Shen)

Ok straight to the point. I know ppl hated vorpal blade bc it made Shen’s lane phase very uninteractive and basically made it impossible for him to lose lane. That was awhile back before the game was changed. The thing is it’s not like he did damage then. His sustain was all he had in lane as his scaling was worse. The problem is now they have nerfed his base stats and his new q to the point where he literally can’t do shit in lane unless you seriously outplay the opponent. They kept nerfing his q dmg to minions making it harder for him to farm? What’s the point? You can say “well he has to be gated bc of his ult” which is true except they also nerfed that so his level 1 ult shield feels laughable now. So now you have a guy with literally no range and 2 long cd basic abilites and has a situational at best W, clunky sword mechanic, literally the lowest base stats of any tank in the game while being the only tank with 0 waveclear. I just feel that if you’re gonna rework him to be more of a duelest then nerf his dueling potential lol at least give him some sustain back bc it’s ridiculous at the moment.

Ive been begging for a ranged Q for months now, Shen is outmatched by every toplaner this meta.

A champion with that much global presence should not have a energy cost ranged point click ability that also gives sustain. That is way too much. So overloaded it is ridiculous and is why it was changed in the first place.
