Plz Save Shen!

Ok so I've been a Shen main since about halfway through season 2 when I started playing this game. I understand that Shen's power will always be gated by the fact that he is abused in pro play. I get it. But come on man, 47% is ridiculous for any top laner. The problem is he can't really do what he's supposed to do. He has a lot of trouble even surviving lane outside of giving up cs and almost auto-losing lane. There are many, many tanks and even some bruisers that can tank better than him while still outputting more consistent forms of dmg. Again, I get it. I know his ult means that Rito will never allow him to be really 'meta' because organized pro-play can easily abuse global pressure. I honestly think his old kit would have been fine to keep; maybe they could have just changed the scaling and maybe even made his q a skill shot to make it more interactive. It would allow skill to be shown. Either way, I think the biggest problems Shen has now is that 1. He no longer has any from of ranged harass and this would be fine if not for the fact that... 2. He no longer has any form of sustain. I think that fixing either one of these would be a great step in the right direction and wouldn't break him in competitive.
