Ranked Placement Bug?
So i did my placement matches and won 5/10 and got bronze V but last season i won 3/10 and got Silver 3. Is this a joke or some new bs that riots throwing at players that are trying to get out of bronze nevermind thrown into it

It is not a bug. It is happening to everyone. But 2 things need to be understood in this situation:

Your Season 3 MMR was different than Season 4. Meaning you could afford to lose more and get placed higher for the beginning of Season 4. However during season 4 you maybe lost more matches overall than you did in season 3 so it dropped your MMR and when you did placements for Season 5 it put you where you thought you belong.

Your wins are not drastic leaps. It isn't if you win all 10 you get put into challenger or if you lose all 10 you get put into Bronze 5. It averages with last season so people thinking they won 7/10 and should be diamond, that is totally not the case.
If you were silver last season and think you are better than bronze then climb out of it.
mhm well yeah i know i can do it im just not motivated to because they put us decent players together with the people that trolled threough placements and won 0/10 because of it. Itll be hard to get out. it always is.
I know I went 4/6 and carry every game. The fact I didn't get master shows there is a bug. Case closed
This chart will give you an idea on how bronze and silver held little difference to one another. Now, there are differences between them, but not big enough to shift the majority of players into a higher league, as most players back in season 4 played their provisional matches, got silver at the start of the year, then never bothered to touch it again for fear of falling through the cracks, I think this may be what riot intends, to "weed out the weak" by lowering everyone, and waiting to see who will actually grind their way back up, I could be wrong of course, and this could all be an accident, but if it wasn't, then what is typed here is my only logical consensus.
