It's not the champion specifically, but the format. They don't want to do a complete and total VGU for Ezreal, they are trying a smaller rework that touches up the model/effects, move some stats around, maybe rework one or two abilities (i.e., not the whole kit).

It's a much smaller scale than the normal champion changes, and if it is successful, then they will start doing that for the champions that can't be fixed by smaller balance changes, but aren't ready for a total rework yet.

If it ends up that it doesn't fix the problem, then they'll look for other solution.

The guy who replied above me pretty much said what I was going to say. However, the fact is that both EU and NA are the only regions where Wu's balancing is an issue, not to mention China loves his thematic and kit, which makes it nearly impossible to do a full on rework. I have upmost confidence that the Ez rework format will work, and Wu would benefit from a rework in that format to satisfy all sides, instead of either fully ignoring him (NA and EU) or ruining a champion a region loves (China).

You definitely misread what was said he would be a low priority for, which would be a full rework (Like Swain and Irelia). It would be easier for them to do a mini one like Ezreal's because in Wukong's case, his kit needs some work (W could be used as a copy spell ability like old rework LB's was, but can only copy Q and E and a new passive, as the mains have stressed enough that his passive is worthless).

Why do you care about high elo players? He was nerfed for the sake of low elo players, primarily (his game play is also fucking obnoxious, tbf).

For how long? twtch harambe quit the game because Wu is no longer playable in high elo. and he's one of top 3 Wu mains in the world. all of us gotta quit so he becomes RIP then they think about their "priorities" which is the most bullshit term i've heard so far in this game.

I havent played League in a while as well because of the direction Riot wants to keep Ahri.

I think it is a good decision. I might play later just to play Ahri, but that is it.
