I main tanks and know Courage of the Colossus is busted. We know it's getting nerfed, let's talk

Current effect of this mastery: "Gain a shield for 10+ 10 per level + 7% of your maximum health for each nearby enemy champion for 4 seconds after hitting an enemy champion with hard CC (30 second cooldown)"

New effect: "Gain a shield for 10 + 10 per level + 4% of your maximum health for each nearby enemy champion for 4 seconds after hitting an enemy champion with hard CC (45 second cooldown)"

Why increase the CD? Trading against that shield every 30 seconds is NOT easy in the early game when you're laning - making that CD 15 seconds longer allows a bigger window for the opponent to make a counterplay. Why decrease the ratio? Well, let's look at it from multiple points. You have your tank junglers that are CC bots, pretty much will always have it off CD. tank supports that are CC bots, who can make aggressive plays every 30 seconds because of it ( Thresh Alistar Blitzcrank Nautilus ).

Then this is the least threatening case, but still a point to bring up - top laners stacking health. Renekton is probably the biggest offender here because now you're better off building item 3071 item 3748 into tank rather than going more for damage with fervor (because it's not that reliable now unless you've got a tank already), which at least made him somewhat of a risk pick if he didn't do a good lane phase. Not to mention you can still run supports in top lane if you're going off-meta who proc it easily.

I'm sure some people are already going to call for nerfs on every tank or the reworked tank items / new supp items, but not the keystone so here's the logical thing to do :^)

Not sure why this is getting downvoted. I knew this keystone was overtuned from the start. 35% of your max health in a teamfight just off of the keystone mastery? Literally no other keystone has that level of game changing power

I would rather they just reduce the health scaling. Even having it cap out at 15% or 20% of maximum health with 5 nearby enemy champions would be massive.

Alternatively, change it to scale with bonus health. Thunderlord's Decree and Deathfire Touch both scale with bonus AD/AP, so it would be easy to justify.

This keystone seems pretty bad. 30 seconds is like an eternity for what it gives you. Because, if you have a lot of health, how is even more health supposed to help? It won't, especially when it only lasts for 4 seconds or so. IMHO, the shield should scale with your armor and MR, not your health. That would make it an attractive option for tanks. And cut the cooldown in half or even by 66 percent. You can always nerf the keystone later when you get around to coming out with a tank update.

One more thing, how useful is a shield for 4 seconds when my stun lasts for X seconds? That's right, 4-X duration. It's just a really badly thought out keystone.
