POLL: Do you actually buy the 3rd tier support items?

As someone who's been maining support ever since the start of season 6, I can say that I always prioritized items such as item 3107 item 3190 item 3504 heck even item 3222. Especially since support item actives/passives have been strong for a while now I've never been a scenario where I find item 3092 item 3401 item 3069 useful or cost-efficient. Now when riot are removing these I didn't really think it was a big deal except them removing rewards for the support quests, so I was wondering what the boards thought about this. What do you think about this and how do you think it will impact the support role?

Honestly, I'm happy about Sightstone being removed.

I'm unsure about making it a deniable quest (I've encountered too many ADCs that fight a support with Relic Shield procs available for CS and pinging them for hitting it... but I'm silver so). It should be fine.

They'll probably keep a close eye on if it ends up making supports get too far behind on their 'sightstone equivalent acquisition'. I'm a little sad that they're still pinning vision (and thus the community will think all vision) on supports, but that's probably tougher to take out. I'm ok with supports having good vision control, but it just ends up for me (again silver so we're bad) that no one else thinks they should ward.

I think overall this is a good direction to go. It will definitely impact this ADC Targon's meta with them getting their shield earlier. However, as a support main (or used to be), I always disliked support because buying Sightstone always felt so unrewarding. "But creating vision is it's own reward" some people say, but like it was unrewarding feeling and this is a good step.

Sightstone was always one if my first buys , I am in low silver, and it was just too much of a gamble to rely on my ADC or JG to keep the river with some type of vision.

Perhaps in higher ELO's where players more often know the value of vision it would not be needed.

I just hope the quest needed to activate the vision portion of the reworked quest rewards is not a long process to complete.
