Y'all ever get sick of this community?

I am sometimes sad about some of the behavior, but I understand the tensions run high when it comes to both the game and the behavioral system. While I wouldn't say I'm sick of it, I think everyone on both the boards and in game would benefit from being a little more proactively aware that League is only a game and that it's good to give other community members the benefit of the doubt at least initially.

The anonymous nature of the internet and the impermanence of any individual over your League career can make it really easy to see other players as minor nuisances or roadblocks, and I think we can all benefit from showing a little more respect and compassion in how we treat the community.

I am tired of premade trolls, supports that go top and mid, refuse to communicate, ignore your pings, ruin your farm, just got twice in a row those types of players and RIOT WON'T DO ANYTHING, cause ruining farm aka ruining game for someone is not bannable only if it's obvious. Then they call me bronze when I can't farm and the enemy outfarms you? Refuses to use heals(yes, the double heal troll) and shields to help you? I've seen bronze players act cooler than what I've witnessed in gold those two matches.

I get less upset at a legitimate troll than I do at people who think getting advice/constructive criticism is flaming. It's hard enough walking on eggshells trying to type quickly, and make sure nothing can be taken the wrong way in your message, in the middle of a game.

Here's an idea, make the ban system harsher by registering player ip and mac addresses. One, this limits players to one account so if they are banned they don't run and make a second account. Two, it makes them think twice if they choose to ruin someone else's games. No little warnings or x day long suspensions. You get one warning then your account gets banned forever if you continue to misbehave.

It's not just the blatant toxic people, it's the constant BMing, snide remarks, dancing in front of turret, etc., etc., just rude actions just below the report level. Now if this was done only a couple times by one person, fine. But there are often several people in each game who are passive aggressive in their chat/actions that over time and over many games, turns an enjoyable game into trash.

The worst thing about this community is that it also turns people into toxic monsters. It's highly common in lower ranks for players to int in responce to toxicity. This often results in the int'er being punished (should be) and the cause of this int'ing ignored, because almost everything is automated and teams rarely report whoever made somebody throw the game.

I've done this before. I was playing the support role, and my draven flamed me constantly. Eventually the mid joined in, and then the top once he had become fed and his ego inflated. So I ran down mid twice and just stood around, then they ended it themselves and everyone reported me. I don't think I was punished, but they more than likely had no punishment for such behaviour. I'd even played pretty well, and ended with less deaths than Draven, but alas I'd had a bad day and their toxicity rubbed off on me.

In retrospect, only the adc should have been punished, and I should have been given a wait time before matches.

unedited chat logs (I am Skullmadness here) anyway, after we lose cause a teammate banned another teammates vayne (vayne otp) the guy went teemo adc, with a guinsoos ap centric build. needless to say we were screwed, and what resulted was me getting insanely ahead of the enemy eve jungle as rek'sai with double to triple her cs and a much better kda and kill participation, but in the end I couldnt oneshot the lucian through nami heals. anyway, this galio(PAJAC) talks of splitpushing as galio, thats a first and said repeatedly in game that I should have taken two cloud drakes and an ocean over prepping for baron, which in the end, got us baron. Anyway, this guy needs a permaban, though sadly I dont think he'll get one

Frankly, I've been banned before with the root cause being repeated retaliation against other players' chat messages and behavior, employing crude language often not acceptable in common parlance. I don't bother with even talking in chat at all anymore, so that It couldn't possibly get to a permaban without resorting to intentionally ruining matches. The problem I personally see, Is that Riot is over-moderating player behavior (and not to a greater degree encouraging the mute and ignore feature; From experience I use it way more now, and I get bothered less when I play), not that they aren't moderating it enough, and It's not because I want to justify what got me banned in the first place (by the rules I've agreed to, they were fully deserved), but because it in my own experience doesn't cause behavioral reform. It causes isolation from other players. It just feels like everything boiled down to only passive-aggressive behavior being permissible, and the game being ripe with such behavior and the ability to abuse it in a spiteful manner. Yet telling another guy off is a big no-no.

But what do I know, maybe a lack of communication is better than occasional direct confrontation anyways.

I also fully expect not to get away with posting this, without having some presumptuous, self-righteous screed thrown my way. But again, this isn't about "gwetting bwanned, Wiot pwease be more gwentle twoo me nwext twime". it's that the behavioral system itself effectively puts a stranglehold on anything beyond game specific colloquialism, contributes to passive-aggressive interaction and walking on egg-shells constantly. I dread to think how voice chat - which is apparently now being considered after 8 years - will play out.

I'm always sick of the community.

I get sick of constantly having really terrible teams that feed. Which is the obvious unpopular opinion here as people are more concerned with chat.

Yes. I can safely and honestly say, without a fraction of a doubt, that this is the most godawful, toxic, worst gaming community that I have ever been a part of. This is coming from someone who used to play Call of Duty religiously, plays Overwatch, plays other mobas, and plays on Xbox Live, commonly known as the hive of scum. No other community even comes close to comparing how absolutely terrible the League of Legends community is. Everyone knows it too. I have friends that refuse to play the game because of how widely known the toxicity of its playerbase is. Riot loves to talk about how great League's community is all the time and every time they do, I'm unsure if they're either deluded or just refuse to accept the truth that their community is a flaming dumpster fire.

It will never change either. This game is a troll's paradise. Riot has chosen to actively punish players for what they say, thinking it'll help make their game a friendlier, more inviting place. Wrong. All they do is issue punishments without context. Someone says 'kys' then someone else says 'Why would you tell me to kys'. The automated system picks up both, and 14 day bans both. This doesn't create a friendlier environment. That person who got unjustly banned? Now they're pissed. Now they're going to make another account, and probably play, upset, and flame other players. Riot is an ass-backwards company that has no idea how to handle all the little demon-spawn that inhabit their game, and until they figure out a productive way, their game will remain a safe-haven for the worst that mankind has to offer, and will continue to go downhill every single day.

The thing I legit hate even more than the community is Riot. The community is ruining the game, but the game is still good. But lately Riot works along to make the m,eta worse and worse and make the game bad...

When people think me saying "GJ" when they just solo killed their enemy laner is flaming, I pretty much refrain from being nice to people anymore.
