Am i the only one who enjoys this meta?

all everyone does is complain. i can pick a tank, assassin or utility top and be viable to the team. i can pick any mid laners and have a massive impact to the game. there are so many jgers i could use that there arnt enough games for me to play them all. supports are supports and adc's are adc's.

people ask why are there so many adc's in every game? its cause people arnt using champs that do well against adc's. tanks? welp i guess executioners calling, last whisper, bork arnt items in the game.

everything in this game has a counter pick. if u dont choose to use them. then i guess its why im having massive fun playing the game and everyone else is complaining.

The game should be balanced around counterplay and not counterpicks. This is League of Legends, not a Rock-Paper-Scissors.

u mean the pick and ban phase? thats so important in ranked? the phase that pretty much determines lcs games?

really? and league is a great strategy game...when you use logic

The fact that the pick and ban phase decides games instead of the relative skills of the players involved is exactly what's wrong with League of Legends.

plz thats why the games played. u act like in sports they just go off the stat sheet. but the pick and ban phase is an important part to league. and there are items in league that massively counter champs. the whole game takes some strategy to play and win effectively.

Well, don't take it from me. Take it from Riot Games' own design goals:

Rich and exciting fights need to be two-sided, not one-sided. In order to dominate your opponent, you need to consistently outplay them, not just pull off that one perfect kill. League isn’t won at champion select and no phase of the game should be decided before a team steps up to fight.

I mean, yeah. You can play a fighter top lane, or you can play Graves and have better tankiness / damage. You can play an assassin mid lane, but anything they do, Zed does better. You could play a generic tank jungler, or you could play Volibear and do damage.

ADC's have an item that let's them ignore roughly half of a bought items armor. That should say something about the state of tanks in this meta.

Counterpick is also a relative idea. How do you counterpick a Yi with lulu/janna comp? How does a first pick top laner counterpick their third pick? At what point did this game become decided in the pick/ban phase, instead of the actual gameplay?
