Ranked and MMR

Okay so I know I am not the best player ever, and granted I still have more to learn than Mt. Taurgon has height, but I feel like this is a little ridiculous. So I am looking for a fresh perspective because my friends aren't going to give me the honest truth over how I played a game... because of their friends. So I know MMR is matchmaking rating, and despite MMR being arguably more important than LP, and we don't get the number, I linked my op.gg profile. So I am Silver 5, but my MMR was B3, it dropped so low due to a very unfortunate losing streak that left me getting demoted to bronze 1. I didn't really think anything of it and won the 3 games I needed to get replaced into S5. That happened again last week and throughout the whole ordeal, it took about 30 games for my MMR to raise 1 division, but I lost 2 games and it dropped from B2 to B4. I know it is supposed to be a reflection on how I played personally, but when I get a late ping from mid and Zed comes in and sweeps bot lane due to Duskars, it's a little frustrating to do anything. I do have a G5 account and an S4 account, but I am too worried about my performance over there if I cannot perform well here. Now I am not going to pitch the whole "I have bad teams" because even though people may feed, I should still be able to help... I think. Maybe I am not playing enough Kalista, or maybe I am just lucky to have had some good placements on those other accounts and lucky to be in Silver in the first place. Does anyone have any tips for raising my MMR? I know I have been playing a lot of DuoQ but that's so I can trust my support and it isn't someone who just got auto filled.
Is this a me problem (and it probably is and I am just getting worked up over nothing) or is there something I am overlooking/thinking? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
