Which champion is getting the boot first?

So eventually it's likely to happen:

The year is 2027, there is well over 200 champions in the game, we now count league seasons in number of SKT world's wins (currently win 15). Tyler1, the current balance team director, finally snaps. Instead of reworking this champion he smashes the delete button, and his keyboard... and his mouse. He also gets banned for toxicity In the process.

WHAT CHAMPION IS THE DELETED CHAMPION? (seriously though what champion do you think Riot gives up on first?)

I'm pretty sure Sterave will be deleted first. No one liked her design even before her release in June 2021.

Feiynn main detected. Feiyyn is one of the only matchups Sterave goes 50%+ against. So if you pick him into Sterave, you're just counterpicking yourself. Learn to play against her W+E+W combo instead of complaining about her. You can easily avoid it if you time your W before it hits. She's perfectly balanced now after they hit her passive and Q.

Lmao remember when everybody said her E was useless on release? Then they buffed its cooldown and swüglebort duration, and she was pick/ban for the whole of SKT year 12 and the first half of 13 after the update to the "unique playstyles" class.

Absolutely gutted after that. But I think Sterave's seeing play in 2027, probably since Tor'Quai and Feiyyn are meta.

It references Sterave, the shit tier champion released way back in 2021. No one uses her anymore, so I'm not surprised you might not know her. Riot claims they'll update her, but it's so low on priority that it's ridiculous. Even the 6th rework on Irelia's brother is before her, and that's saying something.

No, they wouldn't delete Ryze . He's just had his 27th rework (the last couple years he's had 3 reworks a year, this is the first year he's had 4 reworks).[slayer-jinx-wink]

idk why this isnt in memes and games but the answer is none. Riot fully enjoys making people work their asses off for almost 4+ years and still not have every champion so I dont see why they'd stop ten, twenty, or even fifty years from now.

if riot were to it would probably be something like lee sin because they didnt want him in the game to begin with and only added him because players wanted it

i would say ryze but they keep reworking him and letting him keep his stun which is what i see a lot of people complain about so i feel like they wouldnt give up on that rat champ and keep trying to fix it

but then again i dont think riot would ever delete a champ

I'd say Nunu just due to sheer lack of work ever done on him to make him both visually appealing and enjoyable to play.

Skarner & Zilean (& possibly Mordekaiser ) are honorable mentions, both for being disgusting in how they look and unenjoyable when being played and/or fought against, as well as the fact that they remain unattended to by Riot for God only knows how long.

Zilean?

Ill agree on the weird-looking part but not the rest. Zilean is fun and rewarding to play and easy to punish in-game.

For Zilean I just included him in the group because I didn't feel like separating the sentences. I was more referring to how ugly he looked and the general lack of work done in his direction (at least work that's effective and consistent).

For example, when they first mentioned that new time in a bottle passive of his, I was ecstatic. Then I tried it, and I have to say it's one of the most unenjoyable things to use, albeit I don't main Zilean. I felt like I never had a substantial amount of XP to give any teammates, except for the ones who were literally so behind level-wise that my passive really wouldn't help that much anyways.

Another thing I dislike is how low the range on his E is, but I feel the same way with Lulu (hence why I love champions like Karma, Ziggs, Lissandra).

Meh, they've been screwing up everyone's lore for the last couple of years. Like they've had meetings and are like "Ok let's take the lore from these champs, and make it worse."

Yeah, I've noticed that trend too. It all went a bit downhill after the Shadow Isles lore update. Im just glad that my main Karthus had a decent lore update. My only regret is that basically, Karthus is being friendzoned by Kindred without him knowing, despite his entire dedication to their concept.

Yeah, Shadow Isles got screwey, but I remember the starting point was with Frejlord. Suddenly more and more champs were getting retconned to be from Frejlord. There were all sorts of memes and jokes like the Oprah one "YOU'RE NOW FROM FREJLORD!" "YOU'RE NOW FROM FREJLORD!" "YOU'RE NOW FROM FREJLORD!" "YOU'RE NOW FROM FREJLORD!"

Ryze will get his 10th rework that simultaneously removes him from the game. In 2027, Android technology is so advanced that Riot makes Ryze in real life and let's him join the balance team.
