So eventually it's likely to happen:

The year is 2027, there is well over 200 champions in the game, we now count league seasons in number of SKT world's wins (currently win 15). Tyler1, the current balance team director, finally snaps. Instead of reworking this champion he smashes the delete button, and his keyboard... and his mouse. He also gets banned for toxicity In the process.

WHAT CHAMPION IS THE DELETED CHAMPION? (seriously though what champion do you think Riot gives up on first?)

I'm pretty sure Sterave will be deleted first. No one liked her design even before her release in June 2021.

Azir Ryze Zed Because I don't remember any of these champs being in a balanced state since they came our or since I started playing this game in 2014

idk why this isnt in memes and games but the answer is none. Riot fully enjoys making people work their asses off for almost 4+ years and still not have every champion so I dont see why they'd stop ten, twenty, or even fifty years from now.

if riot were to it would probably be something like lee sin because they didnt want him in the game to begin with and only added him because players wanted it

i would say ryze but they keep reworking him and letting him keep his stun which is what i see a lot of people complain about so i feel like they wouldnt give up on that rat champ and keep trying to fix it

but then again i dont think riot would ever delete a champ

edit- tyler1 would remove braum though

I'd say Nunu just due to sheer lack of work ever done on him to make him both visually appealing and enjoyable to play.

Skarner & Zilean (& possibly Mordekaiser ) are honorable mentions, both for being disgusting in how they look and unenjoyable when being played and/or fought against, as well as the fact that they remain unattended to by Riot for God only knows how long.

Ryze will get his 10th rework that simultaneously removes him from the game. In 2027, Android technology is so advanced that Riot makes Ryze in real life and let's him join the balance team.
