@Riot, I know Winter ARURF is a one time thing, but what were you thinking?!
I saw in another post that a Riot Admin did say that they wanted to try something different this time and this is probably a one time thing depending on community feedback, **but what were they thinking? **
The map is awesome and the theme is cool but why reduce the champ pool by 60% (130+ champs in league total, only 60 in this mode) just so you can only have champs with winter/festive skins? Not only that, since the champ pool is limited, you tend to see super OP uber-carry champs more than you would like to see.
Uber carry/basically instant win -

2nd but still hard carry -

ADC's are a joke in this mode too and usually get instantly deleted by the above champs or any AP mage. Even tanks get nuked and usually just go full AP
cuz its better to 2-shot your opponent then let them 2-shot you even tho you built full tank.
The random part does help a bit but I have played about 15 games and I already bored since I have seen the same champs hard carry over and over, the same adc's get farmed for kills, and when I get to the loading screen and see the other team with 3-4 of the above OP champs and I think, "Well...gg"
Either make it really ALL Random URF (not really ALL since its only 60 champs) or be normal URF with the players choosing bans. IIRC, they had old urf and after each week they would just remove certain champs that had super high win rates, I wouldnt mind if they just removed the top 5-10 champs each week with the highest wins to keep it balanced.
Long post I know but I never got bored of ARURF or URF, but I found myself getting bored with this Snowdown ARURF within a few days since its the same thing over and over. I do like the snowball btw to stop the old insane Teleports all over the map but why do they have wards die 2x faster? It just gets annoying re-warding and face checking a bush every 60 seconds.
(on PBE, before it went live).
it was a complete joke. Slow movement, slow attack speed, slow abilties, and easy to kite and a big target.
