Cho'Gath has Zero Counterplay

Whatever squishy is caught by his Rupture is silenced for 2.5 seconds and then 100 to 0'd... Bjergsen plays him as an assassin because his damage is ridiculous, not to mention nearly unavoidable. Whoever he chooses in a team fight WILL die, no questions asked... Riot has said that tanky assassins are very unhealthy for the game (better nerf Irelia). Please support this claim by reworking Cho'Gath into a healthy tank or a healthy assassin... not an unhealthy combination of the two.

Thanks,

Sanity

Yes. Yes. Cho'Gath was unchanged for like 3 years, then LCS player picks him and magically he's OP in a need of a nerf.

Where was that image...

Any champion with good range destroys him.

chogath can target anyone but the fighters and tanks. if he is built as an assassin, anyone can focus him instantly and kill him, but yes, his damage is high in burst. tanky chogath is terrible in a sustained fight and has to have assistance

overall, chogath is fairly balanced with a variety of playstyles available and he can play in every lane...what lane he does well in though depends upon the player and an enemy's competence. if he is in the brush, he will very likely get a Q off to start a combo, but who else can't do that? if he is in plain sight, you should be watching your own character as much as his because there are indicators of his Q and only the most immobile of champs can't run out of his Q in time

he plays a prediction game. will they go this way? I toss a Q, they don't go that way, half my damage is gone for 5-10 seconds

it's funny how the truth is getting downvoted. Kassadin , Talon and Leblanc was too "op" with their silence... but Chogath is allowed to silence u for 4secs then ult for 500 to 1500+ true dmg

He does have counterplay. CC the heck out of him cause he's extremely slow before boots.

The TF was shitty. He got caught with rapture every time he tried to poke cho and fed. Then rest of the game cho snowballed at a higher level and wrecked everyone.

Nothing new compared to any other champion.

It takes skill to land his Q, and if you didn't notice, Bjerger King's target was somewhat distracted long enough for Qs to hit.
