Need advice for bronze.

I have entered this cycle where I will dominate or have my team dominate and I win games easy. After this My team is not so good. I am a top laner. I was playing quin top and won the lane. i think 9/1 or something like that. The bot lane fed hard. Needless to say they lost. I roamed mid took out their Vel. Then went back top. Bot lane still needs help so I roam bot to help out. Killed their adc or someone. Don't know who. ADC still dies and I go back top to stop the garen from killing my tower because any time I leave if my enemy laner so much as breaths on it I come back to see it with half health.

I have given up on top because I cannot trust the bot lane anymore. I could play it myself but I suck at ranged champs. My question is what role is best to actually carry or help control the game.

Thank you for your time.

I made the same exact post a month ago, and the advice I got really helped me, it's called the 40/40/20 rule.

In 40% of your games, your team feeds. In 40% of your games, the enemy team feeds. The remainder 20% of your games are purely reliant on skill. So you will climb and fall depending on those 80% of games where the game will be decided by who feeds more; but the remainder 20% of your games will decide how far you climb; and that 20% of your games will be reliant on your skill.

TL;DR - You will get feeders on your team AND on the enemy team in most of your games, but every 5 games, you'll get a game that will be decided on how well you do in your games.

Also a tip; Use CS to your advantage. In bronze people tend to neglect cs all the time. it's rare you ever see people go over 100 cs in bronze at 20 minutes. CS'ing will help you a lot because it'll give you the upper hand in bronze. Try aiming for 175-200 cs in 20 minutes. You rarely see people in higher ELO's having low cs, so if you keep csing like that, chances are you won't climb

And if you're just tired of ranked, do what I did & just don't play it. I mean I was placed in bronze in my placements but i just stopped playing ranked because it's a waste of time

Thanks for the advice. I'm not too bad at csing but some games I do worse than others. I'll try to do it consistently well from now on. as for the 40/40/20 that is... very depressing -_-... Well I'm a gambler at heart so lets see if this'll give me high blood pressure in the future.

The problem is the way games are weighted in promotional games. They just look at the course of 3 or 5 games to determine if you make it or go back down. Meaning, promotionals, placements are just RNG

If you aren't getting towers kills don't matter. It doesn't matter if you kill your lane opponent, it doesn't matter if you kill mid, it doesn't matter if you kill bot. You need to be pushing out lanes and getting damage on the tower any time you get a kill. Also, there is such a thing as roaming too much. When you dominate your lane you get a huge gold and exp lead over your opponent. Every time you roam you aren't getting as much exp/gold as if you had stayed in lane. Every roam has a cost to it. That cost can be mitigated if you get a kill or a tower or if you don't lose any CS but you can actually hurt your lead if you roam at the wrong time. If you roam too much and don't get kills/objectives off of it that lane opponent you crushed can come back into the game.

Thank you for the advice. If I do get a tower I try to spread out and help other lanes. But when we reach 2nd tier towers the teams usually start chasing kills sometimes and letting minion waves push up to our towers. But mostly I think I have to work on getting the team to siege when we have a lead and exposed an inhib. I suck at that atm.

I'll also try that keeping the laner out of the game tactic.

If you want to infulence the match, best way to go is the jg route but can be stressful when since you cannot be everywhere at once, and lanes will feed. It feels like babysitting.

Normally ask your jungler to stay bot side. Quinn is really good at roaming so getting first tower then making the rest of the lanes fear you is a good strategy. i main support so i'm not much help in this situation.
