Thoughts on Patch 8.13 - the Single Patch that disappoints me about this game

Since season 2, I main . Within my 6 years of experience of LOL, I've never felt this way before - confused and disappointing. I was Diamond V when season 7 ended, and now I can hardly win a gold game - Every game I encounter the same champs -

Enemy Team of Last Game Enemy Team of the Previous Game Enemy Team of the Previous Game x2

When I play any of my mains , rekts me in lane because they have high base damage; If by any chance I played super passive and made it into the late game, champs like flash R deletes me. Things that deletes me EVERY GAME no matter how well I do : Flash R WQE Flash R Flash R .......................................................................... Well I understand things are how it is, in 8.13 this happens to me EVERY game - it gives me 0 chance to counterplay , 0 chance to escape, and 0 fun.

I understand that riot is looking for "diversity" - but making dominating the bot lane and the entire game is not diversity. That is how you make loyal players quit the game like what some of my friends is doing ---- but I hope this will never happen to me; although this entire game after the mid-season patch is disappointing me so much.

BTW I really miss season 5, where no exact group of champs are too op, and theres no new Irelia, no Zoe, no Conqueror, no ..... While I have fun in Ranked with five of my friends.

Yeah, Azir was pretty fun back in Season 2

It's not fun at all.

Even if you win a game you know you killed them in .5 seconds with zero counterplay. That is not fun.

SEASON 5 was my favorite too.

I have played this game 6 years and I just saw someone die 20 times in a ranked game (that wasn't like 70 minutes long) for the first time when 8.11 went live. I have had someone die more than 20 times in 7 games in the last 2 months. I was in a game yesterday where we were up 15-0 at 8:45. I was in a game last week where my bot lane was 1-22-2 when we /FF 15. The quality of games this season has been so low that winning doesn't even feel good.

example of season 5 graves vs vayne J4 vs Vi irelia vs riven braum vs blitz any mid i LOVED this season where it was skill matchups and maining a champ didnt feel pointless nor were there champs that outclassed other champs from start to finish like 15-20 champs do in season 8..

Only thing I find odd about this post is you keep saying MonkeyKing flash R's to delete you. That doesn't happen, you must've worded it poorly or you don't know what he's actually doing.

The other thing I find odd is that you play Azir and get deleted by MonkeyKing . Not many players are going to dive an Azir with ult up. I mean what Diver/assassin wants to go after a champion that can just disengage then delete them? That's the equivalent of diving a Lissandra .

In one patch Riot sent to F tier every rageblade user except for Kai'sai who is not even great anyways and almost every crit marksman.

I main Varus, or mained since he's completely useless right now. You go rageblade you do 0 damage, you go crit you do 0 damage, i'm considering switching back to lethality tbh.

Had a Twitch that had been ultied by Zed with Duskblade and knew any attempt on anything is useless, so he danced until the overkill got him.

The average game I play the enemy has AT LEAST 3 Duskblade or Cleaver builds. Getting one-shotted-indicators: ON.

Season 4 was my fav before ghostcrawler joined riot, season 5 ghostcrawler joined.

i really miss the time when yasuo was in the gutter didnt last long but still

i think it was between s4 and s5
