Nunu Ultimate Suggestion?

Nunu has a pretty craptastic ultimate, unless you happen to be a bush (70% of my caster supports health just gone and i'm like what the fuck!?"). I am not debate that the damage on his ultimate isn't good, its by far, when fully charges so powerful BUT...

Nunu's ult is very situational, especially in the mobility creep that we see today, champions that never would be been put in Season One like Ekko, Fizz etc, all have powerful mobility at their disposal. So maybe its time to update the Yeti's ult and here is food for thought because any idiot with Flash can get out of a Nunu ult before it finishes channelling.

What if Nunu's ultimate's damage was nerfed slightly HOWEVER, it acted like a Ring of Frost. He would snare opponents for 2.5 seconds at the start of his ult, which would give much less time to react and move out of it. Almost guaranteeing waste of a flash or a valuable mobility spell if they can escape at all.

Kind of a mixture between Nunu's current ult and Sejuani ultimate. You still have time to move out of it but you get CCed in place for a short amount of time?

Nunus ult does what is meant to, and that isn't damage. Instead it applies the threat of dmg thereby zoning off the enemy team from your squishies and putting enemies inside it at a disadvantage by slowing them (and I think lowering their AS)

It is a zone tool, not a damage or cc tool, and while going it is probably the strongest zoning tool in the game.

putting any hard CC on Nunu's ultimate would instantly make him a top tier pick.

Nunu doesn't need anything. If he does need anything, it's ANOTHER nerf because he's still a top lane menace.
