Lagswitch in league?

So I was playing a ranked league of legends match, my team had just destroyed the enemy team, and we were about even but my team was slowly taking the lead, I was having no internet problems whatsoever, could play perfectly fine. Then out of nowhere me and out botlaner get hit with 400+ ping, we are struggling to position, to fight, whatnot. I have had no problems with my internet at all the whole day, I rarely ever have internet problems at all. Then immediately right after that game finished, my internet was back to normal. I had previously, before I started grinding league, made sure every other electronic device in the house was off(except for my pc and the router of course), and I also made sure I wasn't downloading or uploading. Is this type of lag possible in this game because of the enemy team?

Lag switches are something you use on yourself. DOS attack is what you are talking about but that also cant be dont in LOL because they cant target the server you are on.

Lag Switches arent a thing in League of Legends, as they can only be used if you are the host of a game lobby, like Call of Duty's P2P.

You're looking for a DDoS, or DoS, but I highly doubt someone found your IP Address, and an attack like that would've either brought down your router entirely or put your ping much higher than 400.
