Passive: Does that mean if you kill Aatrox at zero Blood Well, his passive activates but doesn't heal him at all? You might want to add a base heal, such as 5% of his health. Also, I noted that you removed the improved attack speed you get from a full Blood Well; is that intentional?
Q: Seems okay, and the Aatrox fans have been asking for this for a long time.
W: Seems the same, except for the Mortal Wound mechanic.
E: The Mortal Wound passive is horrible, why pick Aatrox when you have Darius's bleed which deals a lot more damage? If you are building full AD for Aatrox, you are most likely going to have around 300 AD, which is the optimal AD before you start building attack speed and crit. This means that, with max stacks, you deal a total for 48 true damage over 4 seconds, making your DPS 12 more. This is, not to say, pretty useless. I can think of three things to remedy this:
- Make it also deal % missing HP, similar to fizz, but turn it into physical damage.
- Make it deal more damage the lower the target is (like 200% scaling at half health). After all, the wound is mortal.
- Instead of basing the damage off your AD, make it like that one crit item in TT. When you hit a person, you make them bleed based on how much damage you actually do. For example, if you crit a person for 900 damage, they will take an additional 144 true damage. That way, it's also counterable with armor, but also scales better.
I like the slow idea, though.
R: The issue with this ult is that it still seems generic. All you get is a ball of stats and cleave... what's the use?
Overall: That's a lot of passives... Also, what is the theme you're trying to fit Aatrox to? A light fighter? A tank? You might also want to consider his lore. Why pick Aatrox over other champions, since that is the main problem with Aatrox currently.
My suggestions are these:
Passive: Make it so that you get benefits other than resurrection. For example, for every 2% Blood Well, you get 1% attack speed, and for every 5% Blood Well missing, you get 1% more healing from all sources. That way, you have an incentive to balance out your Blood Well for maximum efficiency; you don't want to be healing more when you're at full health, and there's a risk factor for the increase healing because you might not resurrect with much health when you die.
R: (You can pass this off, since this skill is more lore than gameplay) Aatrox could rise in the air and inspire allied units within 2000 range, giving them (20/25/30)% more AD, AP, MS, and Damage Reduction. However, Aatrox cannot perform any actions during this time, but still can be targeted. Aatrox can then choose to propel himself to a target location, knocking up and dealing damage to all enemies (similar to his current Q). Doing so will end the inspiration buff. Of course, Aatrox would then need a new Q, but that's another matter.
