The dragon pushback is annoying for melee champs!

I remember it was added in a long time ago so that clearing a ward placed directly under dragon wouldn't create a difficult situation. I do not main jungle but after trying to solo drag on Mastery Yi in a custom game I am so annoyed. His "Q" would cause it to reset and push me every time. I would like to ask that the pushback from waking up dragon only apply to wards (original intention) and not champions (annoying side effect). Thanks for your time.
