Please make the requirement for Ranked:

10 champions at Mastery 5. Honor level 3.

EDIT:

{quoted} there needs to be a minimum of honor lvl 3 for ranked gameplay restriction.

This does 2 things:

  1. Keeps noobs and casuals out of ranked play.
  2. Makes it harder for smurfs to smash lower ranks.
  3. Helps curb trolling.

There is literally no downside to this. Make it happen. Do it.

Not one counter argument against this.

Some good tries:

"What about me only being able to play one champion?" "I don't want anything but meta picks!" "I only play ranged champions!" "Some challenger players won't be able to play ranked!" "You don't even have the requirements!" "It'll take me too long to get that, fuck league!" "This should not be a goal! It will make account sales soar!"

I see you've already tossed taking constructive criticism out the window. So let me skip to being brutally honest, this is an awful idea that will never be implemented. If you actually can't understand why it is a bad idea (and aren't just trolling when you respond to others) you severely lack an understanding about how the game functions.

There's also no real upside. What if I have Mastery 5 on, say, 10 tanky top-laners and suddenly decide to main Soraka in ranked? Perfectly fine, but the fact that I have 10 Mastery 5 champions means nothing towards my ability to play Soraka.

There will be people who has 10 Mastery 5 on, for example, top lane champions only, so technically, you want more cases like autofilled Support playing Illaoi to happen.

These players have played Velkoz and Gnar the most since the mastery system update. They are both mastery 7 and as you can see by no means good at their champion mechanically. Sure they do get some kills but ultimately they suck. How is a mastery 5 any better if you don't learn from playing
