Baron/Dragon Timers and Thoughts

With the new patch this month I found out that we get the baron and dragon timer even if we don't have vision. In my opinions I don't like this change because it promotes laziness with timing objectives and warding them frequently. I also like this because it allows players that are behind to know when objectives are up or gone so they are able to secure/contest an objective if they turn the game around (and because theyve been trapped in base for five minutes).

Its a fairly new design to get used to but I still don't like it that much. What are your thoughts?

I'm fine with this mainly because the team who has vision gets the timer for free because they took it. If the enemy team is behind, outside of having a scrying orb, there's almost no way to get vision and therefore the timer of the next objective if the enemy team is preventing them from getting to it. Also with the changes to dragon providing an incredibly strong buff when one team reaches 5 makes it more fair for the opposing team to try and stop them from getting it instead of letting them get it and getting stomped with it.
