I'm actually glad this Xerath shit is happening because now Riot is actually being forced to address all scripting... something that have just let slide for so long.

Except they don't

They banned players who use scripts

The problem is people get butthurt for losing to an mechanically better player and decide to cry "scripts"

I remember playing Cass and I was good at landing Q in lane and I was asked if I used scripts.

Riot has and does ban them.

Same as the other exploits we've seen in the past. Remember when some champions had ultimates as their basic attacks due to an exploit? Fun videos, but extremely few people every actually saw it in game.

Please tell me more about all the scripters you know that for sure 100% scripted and were not just better than you/luckier than you. Because that could totally NEVER happen.... Especially to you! Like, oh my god, you are the most totally awesome player ever and could dodge anything unless they were scripting and could beat anyone unless they were scripting!!!!!!!

i mean its obvious someone is scripting if they hit you from base to base with a xerath Q and keep getting kills

So, as i said, 100% of the time even without a major bug like xerath Q, it is so completely obvious when they are scripting.

My original post was not for the Xerath Q bug that i guess is caused by scripting.... It was to the OP's commentary of "all scripters"...... Is the OP saying they obviously without a doubt know some scripters who have not been banned? Without the aid of a major glitch like Xerath Q that is caused by scripts..... Would anyone not looking at the coding of that game or whatever they do to find scripters, be able to tell if they were scripting or not? That is, 100% of the time as i will repeat again.

The answer is no, which is why i added in a lot of sarcasm about their post in general because currently they are just trying to cause a uproar about scripters that Riot has been taking care of as they find them and can actually tell without a doubt they are scripting.

You know, trying to put the bad people away and hopefully no good people? What if you got accused of scripting by a person similar to this OP and no checking was done on it. "oh yeah this looks similar to the other cases we got, so we are just gonna ban them too"........ Even if it is the Xerath Q bug, checking still has to be done to make sure it does not accidentally happen by some miracle that someone flawlessly executed a Xerath Q glitch that has only been done by a script......

Hopefully my point is made.

I don't know wich Elo you're playing in - but I've met several scripters during my more... pationate days in League.

One I remember in particular because it happend in a promo (either to Plat 1 or Dia 4):

A Draven canceling every single AA on point without any mistake in the middle of a Teamfight - that looked so unnatural, hilarious and so obviously far beyond any human capeability I could not belive what I saw at first.

You're lucky - you've never met a real scripter. And yes the classic Report X for scripting is nonsense 9 out 10 times - however there are scripters and some are quite obvious. Hey, people are making a good amount of money selling this shit after all.

Well, not saying they are not out there, I have not seen the Xerath Q thing going on yet at all so I personally havent a clue. I have seen some people auto cancel quite quickly, whether they were scripting or not i can not say. I could have played against scripters and not even know it, i never have bothered paying that much attention to it. I just assume they are playing quite well so I just have to play better....... Scripters are for show mostly and have some reaction to it.... If you have better counter reaction, you beat scripters the same way as you beat a really good opponent.

Thats just how i look at it, i would assume scipters are out there for sure, and while this one glitch is caused by a script i guess? The OP had commented about "the other scripters"...... Which then falls into that who knows how accurate 9/10 times its a false accusation catagory that people just assume its oh so easy to tell they are scripting....... Which is only ACTUALLY obvious if there is a glitch caused by a script like the current xerath one.....

I'm not sure that you can detect most scripts outside of the obvious auto-combo, dodge, orbwalk. There are others that track all the players around the map, show ranges, cds of spells, auto execute with global ultimates and similar.
