One of the new items thats meant to help mages succeed in bot is a new MAGE AP CRIT ITEM THAT MAKES SPELLS HAVE A CHANCE TO CRIT!!!

They already showed that spells criting doesn't work when they gave Jinxs W a crit. It doesn't work because the damage becomes so insanely high that you would be melting people with barely any damage. Say a spell does 275 damage rank 5, plus another 125 from AP, that's 400 damage, now crit that into 900. You complain about getting crit from Jinx range at 700, imagine Xerath with an over 1k range nuke crit.
That would be a terrible idea.
Awful idea, crit ARE a problem, you don't fight what's broken with something even more broken (imagine Ryze doing 2k+ damage with his Q -_-)

I swear to go if this is a thing then riot needs to fire the balance team right now. ENTIRE COMMUNITY: There is to much damage in the game, you think you could tone it down a little? RIOT: Fuck you, Death cap now has crit chance.
