What's with the Zed + Duskblade combo?

I'm pretty sure Zed would actually be one of the worst assassins you could build Duskblade on

In order to optimize its execute dmg, you would have to Ult on Zed, sit around for a full second without getting CC'd, and then Auto-Attack to apply Nightfall or else Duskblade is going to proc before your ult goes off
You counter this item in the same way you already counter Zed ult, so it seems extra unworth on Zed

I agree that to use it's full potential, you should make duskblade detonate after the ult. Even so, it's still a very good item on him, it's just that other champions will probably make a better use of it.

Also, it can be confusing for Adcs to use QSS since duskblade detonates after 2 seconds while Death Mark after 3, today I wanted to QSS it but didn't make it in time and died from it alone, without the Death Mark.

Zed doesn't really need it either.... Its more useful for like Akali who uses abilities to start and then autos to finish.
