It’s going to do a lot more for yi and Jax. You know what I don’t think yi needs to do? Ignore MORE OF MY ARMOR

Jax is just super strong atm, and this is gonna make itemizing against him impossible.

this isn't a buff to yi. Yi doesn't need any kind of pen to begin with so he doesn't gain anything from the change. If anything, he lost the AD/AP so it nerfs his damage slightly.

Um what? You realize his damage isn’t all true damage right? You realize he still builds mortal reminder/lord dominiks for pen right?

This litteraly frees up a slot for him to have another item.

Not once have I ever seen a yi build any pen item. Once you have enough AS you don't need it because one round of your E + conq is an absurd amount of true damage without any need for pen.
