Why can players ban their own teams champions?
Why does riot allow you to ban champions your team has selected in the dynamic queue? If for example, lets say I want to play super popular champion
. I'm 1st pick. Bottom pick has a grudge against
, because "
's suck and always feed". So he bans
. Now for some people, this might not be a big deal but for me
is my main champion and this person has A) Demonstrated they have no trust in their teammate B) Inclined me to not trust them because I suspect they are already tilted. This is not creating a cohesive or productive attitude for the team. It just seems like this could be solved by not allowing anyone to ban a champion which someone on your team wants to play.
(From the other side) I can understand not wanting
jungle, it seems like a really bad idea. I can see why someone would want to ban
if someone on their team picked
for jungle, but imo if a person is going to jungle
, they either A) Know something I don't or B) really are bad. If it's A maybe we'll win and if it's B then they really are unskilled and now they're probably angry. So In the best case I learn something new and in the worst case I've angered an already sub par player.
-End rant
P.S. I hate jerks and idiots. I don't main ashe nor ahri they are just examples and both start with A.
, they should be able to counter-pick and crush her in lane because they know her play. It's people who are banning based on a grudge rather than reasoning that really get on my nerves, but you can't ban actions based on intent.
...sorry". I believe MOST often, these are unintentional bans, due to a rushed response to get a ban in before being tossed for failing to ban in the allotted time.
