I got a 2 week ban last august after having no previous warnings, and since then ive been stuck at level 0 honor. I don't talk in chat at all anymore, aside from the occasional "gj". Seriously what the fuck its been a year

To raise honor level you need to be honored I'm fairly sure, just saying "gj" on occasion wont do the job. You still slowly progress towards honor level 1 but it takes very long to do without actually getting honored from what I've been tolled
Your increase in honor level is slowed if you get reports even if you arent punished, and the dumb thing about getting honor votes is it basically goes to the person who carried the hardest and not whose actually the most honorable
