Vladimir rework brainstorm
I'd like to start out by saying i don't really know if Vlad is actually balanced. In the sense of damage or viability. But i'd say i see / face a Vlad 1 out of every 50 games give or take, and it I've never thought to my self that this lane was going to be fun or enjoyable. Just sit back and farm. But, i have also had little experience playing against him so i don't know ho validated my opinions are.
But i also heard that the main reason they didn't rework Vlad, was because it would be difficult to maintain his "Vampire essence" So i thought i would try and brainstorm some ideas on how to make Vlad a slightly better off
Passive** (NEW)**: Rapid Molecular Bondage
Vladimir takes 25% reduced damage from DoT spells, such as:
's entire kit. Which essentially means that over the course of any spell that accumulates damage, Vladimir will only take 75% of that damage
Vladimir also gains 10% extra effects from health regen items
(Note:)I don't really know if vlad needed a new passive or not, i don't think his passive was of any sort of problem, but i just wanted to full revamp him.
Q: Transfusion (NEW EFFECT) | short / Medium cooldown Vladimir prepares to siphon out blood from a near by area, with a .75 delay, Vladimir deal medium amounts of damage to a small sized area, healing himself for a percentage of that damage dealt In short, it's the same spell, but in an area for more combined healing, but dodge able
W (NEW): Sanctuary pact | Medium cooldown Vladimir deals 55 true damage to all enemies near him (1.25 seconds to cycle with damaging and healing), healing himself for that amount. If Vladimir heals for more than 120 HP, he will become invulnerable under a pool of blood for a short amount of time. While invulnerable, Vladimir deals damage to enemies in an area around him, healing for a small portion of that damage, for each 75 HP Vladimir has healed in the pool, he gains an extra .25 seconds of invunerability Almost the same spell (with new proper scaling too), but it is no longer a free invulnerable.
E** (NEW):** Disease Transfer | Medium / longer cooldown Vladimir expels any unwanted disables and transfers a portion of it to a near by selected enemy. dealing a fraction of the initial damage plus AP scaling to the user, and applying half of the debuff while curing himself
EXAMPLE: Let's say if Bard
comes up to you and effectively stuns you with Cosmic Binding stunning you for 1.25 seconds or however long. You could activate Disease Transfer and apply a .65 or so stun to Bard or a nearby enemy, while dealing a portion of Cosmic Bindings damage, + Vladimir's own AP scaling
Note: I also don't know if Vladimir's E was a big issue either, but i thought that this spell would feel more fitting in a sense of true blood control. I also hoped i worded it well enough to make is comprehensible.
R: Hemoplauge (NEW EFFECT) | Long cooldown Vladimir infects a large area at target location, effecting any enemies in the area. All enemies will have reduced Armor and Magic Resistance, along with having reduced healing effects and slight movement speed impairment. After a small duration of time, all enemies take a decent amount of damage + extra accumulated damage based on the enemies current health, and how much they moved during the time they were infected
That concludes my new vlad kit that i have been experimenting and thinking about for awhile now. I don't really play Vlad that much so i don't know how validated my new ideas will be, but i hope it at least puts a new spin on the Crimson Reaper
