After his most recent nerfs, Ryze has less than a 45% win rate. I'm a little confused why he is being nerfed again when he has the second lowest win rate (only Azir's is lower). I thought that the best champions got nerfed and the worst champions got buffed, not the other way around. The only place he is even semi-decent is in the pro scene, and they make up less than 10% of the player base.
dominusx2 votesBecause it doesnt matter that low elos suck d at him and in the game in general.He is close to pick and ban levels in diamond + and he is a consistent pick in the lcs if i remember correctly. Winrates dont mean shit regarding a champions balance. Rengar was B-R-O-K-E-N and he had 47% winrate he got nerfed (passive) he was STILL broken without a 50% winrate and he got nerfed AGAIN ( cc immunity removal ) and now he is actually in a fine spot without a good winrate. Azir also didnt have an insande winrate when he got nerfed. BUT the moment you saw an Azir onetrick on the enemy team in high elo it was an almost instant loss.
Edit: also he ult needs communication to be usefull guess what you DONT have in soloque.
SEKAI2 votesThey could've just changed his W so he becomes much easier to balance. They changed everything in his kit, apart from his W, and he continues to be a problem because W has always been the center of it all in the first place.
