Excelling in URF, one Yi or Veigar at a time.

So we had this team comp. Versus that team comp. https://images-2.discordapp.net/.eJwFwVsOhCAMAMC7cABa5Km3IUjQqJTQmv3Y7N135qveeatNHSKDN4D95EJz1yw0c6u6EbW75nGyLvRAFsnleGoXBrNG46MzxmFEtMElWCxiSi7i4n0M1vkAb786fboevanfHwWSItM.4JEwRSF7uU3_HwXrBgYQkiICbUc

A Veigar, Yi, Heimer, Bard, Ryze (Who wasn't even much of a problem).....

I love the randomness of URF now. That's a huge improvement. But my problem with it is some of these champs still benefit way to much from the lack of resource penalty of URF's buffs. Yi is an irritant in normals. Add in no mana cost and minimal cooldown from the get-go? Increased crit damage? Actually annoying. Veigar with 400+ AP at 5 minutes? That's kind of a problem. Like you can stack MR all you want, or build to outburst that, but in the end, especially with Veigar, what the heck are you gonna do? He's just gonna keep scaling, and the fact he no longer needs to actually kill unites to amplify his damage just....well, amplifies the problem. And let's not talk about his ult.

It just makes me wonder, because with some game modes there are limits to how well a champion can do. Syndra's limit for balls on her ult in one for all, for example, because who wants to deal with getting smacked with 20+ balls in one ult.

Like, I'll be honest, I really don't have a solution at this point, I don't have anything to suggest, I'm just trying to highlight the fact some champs just do WAY to well at this game mode, completely obliterating the point of strategy at this point (strategy in URF? heh). Because let me tell you, when you can't even leave base due to a combination of Heimer turrets besieging you and yi just waiting in front of your spawn to q in and kill you (perhaps dying but teleporting back right away), it's hard to enact any semblance of strategy besides hoping you can muster at least 4 teammates to kill him- and he's still going to get at least one of you. That being best case scenario, where his team isn't there to back him up.

Admittedly, our team comp was not exactly the best into theirs, but, this is not the first time I've faced a Veigar or Yi, although I pray to any diety out there that it's the last, because at this point I'm a little tired of URF. Already.

Veigar is the most bullshit lack of counterplay URF champ. If you are melee and don't have flash you will get permacaged until he q's you to death.
