Calling someone bronze isn't an insult when you're not ranked.

When you're actually good and not an arrogant piece of shit and you get to platinum, a kill will 99% of the time also become a CS lead for the enemy.

So yes, killing at higher levels tends to mean winning lane outside of junglers coming in to mess things up.

Likewise, if you're 0/2/0 in lane, but are up 50 cs and have been ganked 6 times (with no allied ganks) you didn't lose lane. You actually won lane. Dominated it really...

Yet whenever I'm in that position that never seems to be the impression.

Although I do always have to point out that 15 CS does NOT equal a kill.

15 cs where you completely zoned the enemy from XP range equals a kill. 15 cs while they soaked xp for that CS means they have the same gold and an XP lead. Which amounts to them being able to kill your bot lane easily due to their inherent 1-2 level lead being compounded by another 1-2 levels due to kills. Just saying.

It depends. I have been down 4 kills to my lane opponent but finished the laning phase with +50 CS and both towers. That's winning lane. He was fed for a bit, but I ended up pub stomping him and our team won the game.

Kills only matter if you get something off of it.

A lot of unranked players are better than Bronze players!

Yeah, it's amazing to me how so many people don't realize the importance of CS. 1 kill is only equal to about 16 CS

I had a similar situation last night. Played Caitlyn vs Varus and I had about 60 cs lead during the laning phase. I had maybe 4 or 5 kills 3 or 4 deaths and close to 15 assists while having close to 270 cs comparing to their Varus who had +- 150CS endgame and than their Sona told me that we lost our lane because Varus took 1st blood on our jungler who dived them and got ulted.

You just have to ignore that srsly because they know you did better but can't face the truth so it's easier to act like a bitch.

I just assumed taking down their tower before they take yours is winning lane.

no moron. kills are the only stat that matters. which is every support is either a ksing noob or just a noob /s

I only agree with you IF your turret wasn't down to - a turret is easily worth 40 CS - just because if for no other reason than the turret is able to be used for vision and as a defensive post - that's easily 15 cs for the gold and 30 CS for the passive abilities still being there

But if I go 10/2 in lane and and I'm 30 cs ahead and get first tower I lose lane, right? That's the logic some of my low elo randoms have

DeathBot6667/29/2016, 2:21:34 AM1 votes

But if you are up 50 CS, but down 2 kills and lost first tower.

THEN you lose lane.

"Silly Bronzies"

If you're matched with bronze, you're no better regardless of your rank or lack thereof. That's just how matchmaking works.

I consider winning lane to be one of 2 things.

  • First tower down (Especially with the latest patch)
  • HUGE lead in cs/kills (3 kills or 100 cs)

People often forget (especially in top lane) that when you kill someone for the first time after 7-8 minutes and they're coming back to lane (especially with TP), they have more items than you. You don't get stronger after a kill until you shop.

Prozzak7/29/2016, 12:17:14 PM1 votes

How long after lane phase was over was this cs lead created? If you were only getting to a 50 cs lead at 20 minutes it was well passed lane phase. If you were even at 15 and the other person just stopped farming lane because the started to roam, then they probably did win lane phase. Too many variables you left out to really know if your story is correct and your last line makes me feel like you likely would leave out information like I mentioned just so you could sound better.
