Why are people banning your champ as a teammate? Is this reportable?

Happening more and more lately.

As a jungle main, they will be the first one to complain why I'm not ganking them in game.

These are usually the ones that claim they are going to carry the game without me in champ select room, then feed their lane. :(

Riot have said that it is not reportable. It is perfectly fine to ban champions that you don't want to play against OR with.

just dont show your intended pick. if it gets banned then it gets banned.

The way you make it sound, yes those people are troing. But no it isnt bannable, people are free to ban whichever champ they like.

Try not playing a champ that has 40%+ banrate at your elo range.

If a champ has that big of a banrate I doubt your teammates are gonna let it through bans for you unless you're first pick, which obviously isn't always the case.

And even if you are first pick it wouldn't surprise me if someone bans it on reflex before seeing your hover too late.

You can and should report it. It will probably lead to no penalty. However, I imagine that if a player consistently bans teammates picks, as a policy, then there could be consequences.

Much of the time, the friendly ban is actually an accident, even if the teammate doesn't want to admit that they made a mistake.
