The Past Few Days Has Been A Blast! (LONG POST! Bring Your Reading Glasses)

WARNING! LONG POST BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT POSITIVITY

For the first time since joining League of Legends in S4, I have had so much fun over the past 3 days. It took 1 game, just 1 to run into one of the best set of people I can come across in league. It started off as a simple day, a friend invited me to join a game. We went into the game -- a simple normal game where I decided I just wanted to steam roll. I sat down, locked in Rengar and then popped off.

The other team seemed a bit frustrated. I ended up camping top lane a bit as it was a Nasus top. I threw in a lil "BM shit talk" in there. He responded back. After awhile in the game, we were chatting non-stop having a blast. It was only me and Nasus really chatting and really hitting it off. We had a little truce treaty going on top lane then his team would come and put me in the dirt. Some times my team would come and put him in the dirt. I'd make witty comments and the Nasus would respond back with his own set of wise cracks.

After that game, my friend left and I invited the Nasus to play. The first game we played, we ran into a duo squad. Me and the Nasus were just enjoying ourselves in the chat, our team was silent. We then started shouting in all chat. I'd say, "Repurt Nasus(who wasn't playing Nasus btw, but we'll keep it simple) for X reason". It'd be a really stupid reason and I was obviously joking. Then Nasus would type in all chat saying to report me for X reason. After awhile, 2 people from the other team started talking.

It was a game of constant back and forth, screaming, laughing, name calling etc. Really, really fun game. We got that duo into the game with us and then all 4 of us just went off and had so much fun. We've been playing the past few days and it's been an absolute experience.

Just this morning, I had a game vs the enemy team. They had a Veigar, who was the only one of the other team talking in all chat. It was an absolute 1 sided match where we were winning. Me and the Nasus started off our usual banter calling each other useless and bad and boosted. He played Bard and started E. We were trolling around for a bit, then after 3 we started playing a bit harder. At 15minutes, I was pretty much a fed Jinx steam rolling bot. We started our normal "Report Bard/Report Jinx" thingy in all chat. We also started talking about how bad the Nasus was cause he wasn't doing any damage with Bard's E. The Veigar joined in on our conversation.

At one point, we were talking so much it was hard to focus on the game, lol. At the end of the game, the 3/8/5 Veigar said, "Wow guys, thanks for such an awesome wake up game this morning." They lost, hard. But he enjoyed it. We weren't outright calling anyone bad, we had our little banter in there and we started fooling around at some point. Even whiles trying hard. At one point I sat under Veigar for 3mins with his bambi cinder getting burned to death whiles the Nasus tried keeping my HP up until I died. Game still ended in 25minutes, so we weren't BMing so hard we didn't end the game in a timely manner.

As HARD as it is to find fun people that you really click with in the game, they are there! We normally playing around 12-7AM EST, so if you're on around that time and you wanna hop in a game where it doesn't matter if you suck and we don't really care whether we win or lose, then by all means hit me up. If we have available spots, I'll definitely send an invite. Just bring that smart ass mouth of yours and be able to take jokes!

So I know that was a very long post, but this game can still be very, very fun. Yeah, there are still a lot of broken/op champs out there, but you just make use of everything to enhance your experience. There are still awesome people in LoL~ I hope everyone can enjoy more games like I have been these past few days. Don't be afraid to speak up -- especially in normals! I feel like that "normal/chill" feel for normal games are lacking and that's why league is so super competitive. There isn't enough differentiation between rankeds and normals right now.
