I don't know if this was part of the work that Rito has been doing on network stuffs, but my latency has recently dropped form 110+ MS down to a consistent 70 MS. Now, 70 is still not competitive (some say) but I have noticed a fairly significant difference.

Yeah, I am in a bit of a small town & I have been running on 110 ever since I graduated from Michigan State. (Where I had a pretty standard 80)
My ISP is Charter, and I know they are on Rito's Good Guy List now

glad u do was all they way up to 200 b4 the patch the other day now im at 240 they really need to fix that shit now not later and i used to get about 80 and i can live with that it sux but better internet dont get ran through the boonies

Those cheapasses made over $1,000,000,000 USD revenue in 2014. Yes over 1 billion dollars, and yet they adamantly refuse to provide an east server, a server, the most essential and basic component of online service. The greed is unreal.
qetzel2 votesMaking an East Coast server would make them more money. The people on the East Coast would be more likely to have fun playing and so may spend more. Not making ECS is probably bad for Riot as far as money goes. Not greed.

Angry Monster1 votesSo when tools tell you that 70 is not competitive just ignore them. I live in LA and i get 55 if you watch berj, hai or anyone else they get 40 to 55 in the LA area also. The difference between 50 and 70 is less than 1/10 of a sec.
