Can someone explain me how to get an S with galio ?

So I'm mastery 6 with Galio and I've just made 2 games with him, and got each time an S- That's great I know, and in the first game with him i didn't deserved S or S+ since I was 11/3/12 with only 168 cs but the second time i was 6/0/12 with 266 cs, destroyed 2 turrets by myself (and was helped on 8 of the 9 turrets we destroyed), was the one that dealt the most damage of my team, and i almost tanked the most also (but nida was above me there ; she was 12/3/4 with 201 cs and got an S) helped to kill a dragon and baron, and 2 inhibs So why ? I know I sound whiny af but I really want to be able to be mastery 7 with Galio before his rework and I can't get better than s- so that kinda bothers me and i'm triggered rn

You get S for objectives and reasonable k/d/a ratio. Helping dragons, rift scuttler, turrets etc, the percentage of how many battles you was participating etc. Even when sometimes I lose games or have more death than kills I still get S as Zilean AP support.

Just keep at it and try to do it better.

Remember to try to have high kill participation and objective participation, in addition to kda/cs. Don't forget to ward well and clear wards too, as those are also factors, and just generally try to win in the most effective and cleanest manner possible.

That must be the wards ; cuz my kill participation was quite fine (60%)

Thanks for the answer :D

You have to recall the 'easier' and more common a champion is, the more higher the 'S rank bar' should be due to the average of how well people play him. If a scummy build comes out for a champion especially or they had a strong simple build that can always be used to easily dominate literally anything, then that means alot of players especially in grouped coordinated setups will be able to set up better, work more effectively and let them minimize the fk ups they do and maximize the points they will pump out to get a high rank.

Until they learn to rework the mastery system by creating differing branches between being 'grouped up' and 'being solo' that first check on where you are at before pulling up the 'average' to gauge if you got high enough for a S rank in how well you played', then likely the former will probably dominate the average too easily on those 'common used champions' and raise the average bar too high for the more common player(s).

Don't even get me started on ARAM or 3vs3 where it feels like they need to adjust the mastery grade system to account for the critical differences in time length and CS for deciding your rank. :/ Very least the former needs to make CS have less requirement for impact, make getting kills/assists have better impact and deaths have less impact since its mandatory to die to buy new items.

Very least unless they did do something like that recently, it still feels like how a few months back when i first got Twisted Fate, during my first regular match with him ever as TF mid, i manage to easily get S rank on the first try, yet even with similar or better performance i can only get as high as A+ with Shyvana or Vladimir or even more common particular champions till i started grouping up to leech off my friend's S rank rank performance to S rank them. Granted all 3 are not 'often picks', but Vlad i would say has a common enough presence to basically shat on any poke type, AP especially champion with his strong sustain and natural gravitation towards first buying item 3065 at how it translates so well with his kit.

OMG ty for taking the time to write this answer b/c she is quite long and precise and it must have take u like 30 mins so really thank you

Well I know Galio isn't really difficult but he is not that easy especially in early since it's hard to manage his mana cost (and i think he is rated in the new client as a medium difficulty). On top of that he is one of the less commons picks so that must not be the reason

My build however is pretty common (I bought item 3001 item 3020 item 3065 item 3285 and try to buyitem 3110 but totally forgot to complete it cuz sometimes i'm quite distracted) My masteries aren't that common ; i've been 0/18/12 which can seems usual but instead of thunderlord i took windspeaker as a toplaner.

And i already know about arams where the grade system is fucked up i have a good example (still with Galio) where i got a B+ while I was doing 19/7/56 or a score near to this one And on 3v3 with Fiora i got B+ too when doing 31/10/9 But the 6/0/12 was a normal

Also I'm a really really bad farmer so yeah it's hard for me to get an S cuz I know cs have a lot of impact and when I'm not playing Aurelion my cs score is usually under the average.

But i didn't knew that was that hard to get an s with shyvana

I care so much about someone else's opinion of how well I played my champ

That sounds like a personal problem, bro.

Give it a try to Galio Jungle. Playing out of it's main role makes it easier to achieve good ranks.
