Unpopular opinion : why not make old and new galio two different champs

Okay before you downvote me lemme explain my thoughts So we know that lol has 100 million ppl playing each month which is quite a lot And people usually have more than one main, let's say it's around 3 (i personally had 6 mains now 5). So a champion would in general be mained by 2.2% of the gamers (3/134) This is not news that old Galio was quite unpopular, let's assume he was played 4 times less than a regular champ, (so 0.55% gamers maining him) 0.55% of 100 million is 550 000 people So Riot just made loose to 550 000 somewhat regular player their main champ, because let's face it, Galio did not kept his identity he was pretty much erased and a new champ with the same name got realeased : his whole kit was changed (and if ur saying to me he got similarities b/c of his taunt, I'm gonna tell you pre-updated felt like because they both had a knock-up. His taunt does not work the same way it used to be and his W is very different from his old ult), his look radically changed (he went from a human sized blue/gold gargoyle with actual eyes to a 500 ft white statue with unusable wings and a superman thingy on the chest), and the list of things that have totally changed (like 99%/100%) goes on and on but i'm gonna stop there i don't wanna rant

So if they make Galio two different champs, people enjoying new could still enjoy and play him, because it is true he is fun to play. But so was old galio to his mains and to some other people too btw, and making Galio two different champs would allow the supposed 550 000 galio mains to still have their mains I mean old Galio wasn't a really toxic champ, he was a bit annoying to face if you were a mage but there's way more annoying ( , (champs that are not planned for a rework)). His W was a bit unhealthy but I don't really think riot is trying to make their champs totally healthy (hi ) and well grevious wounds is still a thing On top of that, old Galio as I said wasn't really popular so spliting Galio into 2 champs wouldn't affect people games except for galio mains And It would make 550 000 person happy about it

So if you have any reason to be against that idea please explain why because i actually don't know any good reason to not split galio into 2 champs and I wanna know what people are thinking
