"It's Normals" is no longer a valid excuse to "try new things" (int my games)

I'm growing ever so tired of the 1/16/12 AP Thresh jungle throwing shade at me for every little misplay while he dies once every 2.6 minutes. Queuing up for normals does NOT give you the express right to be a general retard, ignore your team, and run it down mid. Nor does it give you express permission to have a terrible attitude because the game "doesn't count." I don't expect you to be ultra-competitive in normals.

Yes, it's a place to try new things. Playing a champion classified as a tank support with ap ratios that do damage that require the enemy team stand on top of you whilst building no health/resistances is considered trolling and I WILL report you for it. Don't get uppity with me in post-game chat because you think I'm toxic. I'm utterly convinced over half of league players don't understand what toxic actually means, and this behavior is it.

tl;dr: stop trolling normals because "it's a normal," it's no excuse to do stupid shit and then get upset when people report you because you want a shield to flame all you want go do that shit in aram, nobody actually cares in aram (I hope), or use practice mode to test out new things before trying them in normals (if they aren't troll)

Lol yeah it is, sorry. Normals are just that. Normals. It's a place to try new things without the consequence of losing LP. If you want a place that has a more 'rigid meta' (i hate that concept), then go play Ranked. You'll find a lot of people just like you there, unable to adapt to new playstyles or accept new ways to play old champions.

So dont play champions you do not know in nornals either because this person will report you for being toxic if you do not do well.

Also do not try builds in normals that could potentially do well but you just happened to have the unfortunate event of being against the one champion in lane that is complete hell to play against just because its a possability that you play against them.

Pretty much only do meta and they will always tell you what to do anyways because they are always right and your always wrong.

Btw, jumping in 1v5 expecting to pentakill or something is called feeding...... Or they could pentakill and leave everyone in shock and awe. Oh wait ive solo pentakilled before in normals!

Also btw, i do Nidalee support/mid/top/jungle and enjoy trying various builds with her in normals. You can report me if you want because nidalee is not considered viable at all. Mostly play her in normals though and i have done quite well too. More games i have with her, the more i find out how people try to counter her thus making me better. You know. The kinda thing you need to do in normals?

Purposefully playing bad is against the rules, however, trying various things is not. You should check out some of those "Will It Jungle" videos as well, pro players also do it.

I get tilted when people use the "It's ARAM" excuse. The game mode does not determine if you should legally be allowed to breed.

It's one thing in Normals where people test things or just have fun in their own lanes/roes, it's another in ARAM when you're forced to 5v5 with your team from the start. I question people's mental states when our only tank or different damage type re-rolls (say 4 APs and our only AD RRs to an AP) and says "I didn't want to use it" as an excuse or when our only tank goes full damage. ARAM is where comps matter the most. If your comp is overall bad at champ select in ARAM vs a decent or great comp, then you auto-lose. If you're stupid because you didn't want to use that champion, then trade it, don't re-roll it without saying anything.

I like playing Trundle in normals :c, haven't gotten his build down well enough for Ranked yet.

I'm still gonna play Ahri jungle

Sorry

Normals are a testing ground. Just to relax and mess around.

Ranked is for serious matches.

Trying new things ----> It's ok.

Total disreguard to your team because "trying new things" ----> It's not ok.

Sorry, but most people, myself included aren't going to restrict ourselves to playing meta just because someone wants to take it serious.

There's a ranked mode, in fact two of them for tryhards to go to.

Sadly, since the "support" Nunu troll won by making the whole sheep forum his minions, solo queue normals are overflowing with trolls who use the "its only normal" excuse to troll the hell out of every game they play by just claiming they play "off meta"

people can try new build and different champs in normal. its ok if he tried but it just didn't work, its not ok he just "give up" because its just normal :p

go do that shit in aram, nobody actually cares in aram (I hope)

No. Trying weird stuff is meant for normal SR (and TT) games, since ranked is specifically available for serious stuff in those modes. Unfortunately, ARAM doesn't have that luxury. If you're claiming that "it's just normals" isn't a valid excuse (and I agree with you there), then "it's just ARAMs" is even less valid.

I'm assuming then, you would want them to go to bots to try this stuff. Bots is the place where I can get 30 kills, with one hand, because the bots kinda stand around and don't do much. Can't really learn much there.

To be fair, this is a GAME. You cant tell people what to play or how to play or how good to be etc.
