HUD change to text

I cannot read text that has text shadow. please add an option to toggle the text shadow.

The changes to the font does not work well with the chat. I usually have the chat scaled down quite small, the second smallest setting I think. but that small, the font is "too fat" and looks like solid blocks and is quite unreadable. additionally, the way the pixels fall is warped and awkward. please address this issue, to be sure that the text in chat scales well with its shrinking and enlarging etc.
