Quicksilver Sash/Mercurial Scimitar

AD champions have an AD variant of the QSS, but AP champions don't. I think that a new item should be created that gives mages and AP champions a build path that incorporates the "clear disables and debuffs from the champion". As it is, all that mages can build to get that ability is QSS, where as ADCs, bruisers, and assassins that are AD has Mercurial Scimitar. Does anyone else agree with me?

zhonya you fuck

That doesn't remove buffs, that just puts the champion in stasis. You can't Zhonya when Ww presses R on you, now can you?

You can with good enough reflexes (though you probably only have about 1/100 of a second to do it). All in all ap and ad have different perks in their builds, ad have qss and better aa's whereas ap has zhonya, lichbane (yes ad have triforce but the damage is incompareable) and rylais (no mallet is not a good offensive item).

Learn to give respect to cc and you should be fine.

If they do then it just makes another INSTA Buy item. One that would put a lot of other champs down. Mages are needed to be cc'd. Adc's get it so they don't just die.

But then that makes them susceptible to suppresses and stuns. Mages are a carry position just like an ADC, yet they have less means to protect themselves from CC. I can understand where you're coming from though. And it wouldn't just make it an instabuy item if the conception of the item doesn't give too much AP. Like if they made it give 40 AP with that ability that's still enough.

Again, Mages are not adc's. Mages have burst that can be spelled out before they get killed. Adc's require constant attacking to have any contribution to a fight. The entire point that mages can be locked down is why they are allowed to be powerful.

Mages also have more cc options than adc's. At most Adc's have slows, snares, and Vayne's wall stun. Mages have, and are not limited to, silences, Stuns, Knock-ups, Slows, suppresses, fears, etc etc etc.

It's called zhonyas. Slightly different effects, and both items fit different purposes.

The AD item removes disables because that's what kills an adc in a fight. A mage can survive being slowed, typically.

The AP item makes the champion untargetable to dodge enemy fire in a fight, make plays, but since it's slightly more powerful it makes you unable to act as well as compensation.

Not all AD and AP items need to have mirrors of each other.
