Is Support Illaoi still a Thing?

T4R. I wanted to start maining her but only if I can use her in multiple lanes. I've seen her used in the support role, but I'm not sure if it is (or ever was) viable. Can anyone clarify and/or share a good build?

I play her top/mid/support and currently have a 70% win rate on her over roughly 60 games. Gold 4 at the moment. It is viable support but don't pick it if your team really needs CC or peel.

Got a good build for her? I was thinking of good core items and frozen mallet, triforce, sterak's came to mind

Cleaver/Iceborn into full tank is all you need most of the time and you still do crazy damage. Cleaver isn't even needed if you're behind. Steraks is a good choice if the other team has a lot of up front burst.

Iceborn Gauntlet is almost always core though.

In normals sure, in ranked just play something meta. It's alright but not good enough to be a pocket pick.

Not really, relic sheild use to be able to execute her trapped soul thing but ever since that was patched away it's been unplayed
