The problem isn't crit itself IMO.
It's ridiculous steroids, Vayne's whole kit is steroids, she also gets bunch of defensive abilities like Stealth and hard CC that make her incredibly oppressive when she is ahead or has a team defending her. So she is melting everyone but becomes impossible to kill, because between her kiting, team peeling, her own hard CC, summoners, life steal, stealth and tumble killing a Vayne player is really tough.
Then she also gets 70 AD steroid on her ult (Lmao are we really surprised she is 3 shotting everything?) plus tumble that it's also critting. Get crit on ADs that don't have ridiculous steroids multiplying her AA damage over 9000 and it's actually fairly balanced.
I'm not complaining about vayne...
The reason it's unhealthy is because until it reaches 100% neither player can dictate whether or not a critical strike lands as it is decidedly done so through RNG.
Its a flaw, they had a chance to address it in the "marksmen" update and didn't do so. So its here to stay.
