Anyone should be able to leave champ select as they see fit, free of punishment. If my team is dysfunctional and fighting before the game even starts I should be able to leave and try for a new team. If someone on my team chooses some bizarre pick for their role and i don't want to risk it then i should be able to leave. You might say just ff20 if things go down hill, but no one ever forfeits a ranked game. 12v37, enemy has 4 drags, 5 turrets and an inhibitor but my team is some how convinced we can turn the match around. I predicted this out come before the match started so i should have been able to dodge. its a lose, lose. Either you lose the match and drop 20 LP, dodge the match drop 10 LP and wait 30 minutes. so yea fix that shit

I'd really rather they leave them in.

I would not want to go back to having to complete Champion Select ten times per game played. Those were horrible; it was not unknown to spend about half an hour in champion select before you got to play a single game (and champion select was quicker then).

People would dodge if they didn't get their preferred role, they were countered in lane, they didn't like a teammates pick, they didn't like a teammates win-rate, or any other reason they can think of.

You only lose 3 LP for your first dodge is a ~24 hour period and your MMR goes untouched. Just don't dodge more than once in a 24 hour period, which is easily accomplished with even a small amount of self restraint.

i think there should still be penalty but not the afk one.. I think it sucks how many people disconnect due to connection issue and then get lpq just because something went wrong with the connection...
