turrets are there to support you, not to do all of the Damage.
To be fair, the mistake you made was not saving your stuns and q3s for hitting him under tower or cancelling his W.

1 | I agree with your latter statement that your misplay with your mechanics was a large contributor to this but... 2 | Your point is still valid as 7 turret shots at level 9 and surviving is retarded as Yi isn't a tank. He's an assassin. He should be able to be popped easily. This simply means turret suck booty.
Turrets are made of plastic, but this video does not prove your point well. You got your ass outplayed by Yi.
H4RD MODE? More like E4ZY MODE. Work on your timing. The first stun you casted was during his alpha. Also at 0:19, why would you dash torwards Yi? You should have stayed on the other side of the turret. Your ultimate was up by that time.

Love how people are ignoring the biggest part of the video here... Yes the Riven missed like 3ish CC abilities that might have helped win that trade. That isn't the issue here, does no one acknowledge that Yi full on took 6 turret shots and didn't even care? That is Bruiser status amount of shots... "Turrets are there to Support you not Deal Damage" that is bs why even do damage then? Why not just slow them ramping up to a root or something instead then? They are there to Support you, support you not getting dove by one squishy champion who has no tank items... 6 turrets shots is too much for any non-bruiser or tank...
You're playing Riven though, no sympathy.

It's not yi outplaying Riven as it is Riven outplaying herself. She keeps trying to make prediction plays that would probably work in high elo, but in low elo, people don't move as obviously.
I understand if a tank we're to just eat tower shots, but when an assassin dives you, there has to be some sort of reason to why towers should be feared.
Under normal circumstances people would be like "WTF!"
But since champion rep matter here, and regards to Riven. It's gonna range from Zero Fuck given to schadenfreude :D.

Loved the flash and shield on time. Good work and yh turrets are trash but some people are figuring it out now. Plus that turret is top whilst bot is even weaker :D
To be fair you were both level 9, at about level 9 tower's become worthless in most cases. But i do see your point, you did put up a good fight though lol
Just curious, would it be a good idea if the turret dealt increasing damage after the 3rd shot?

What he lived with like 8% hp... now imagine if you actually did damage to him to punish him for the dive... All I saw you do is run while he was under your tower. Nothing about what i just saw seemed unbalanced... THE yi was actually super fucking bad and got lucky that you were even worse. If you had autoed or even cc'd him once under tower you prob would have got the kill and lived.
I just had a game where a lvl 5 alistar was diving us under turret, taking 5 hits and letting his adc get double kill whilst the turret tickles him. I told adc , that its better to lose the turret than feed them xD...
and no the adc had no kills xD so wasn't fed!
While Riven misplayed it a bit there. No one should be taking SIX fucking tower shots without any armor and surviving. That's insane.
